Who is Available?

Contributed by Elizabeth_Dandy on Saturday, 4th June 2005 @ 10:14:25 AM in AEST
Topic: spiritual

Thanks Lord for your availability,
You hear my voice when I cry out in need!
In my distress, my grief and misery,
You hold me on my path and on my feet.

You are available my Lord and God,
Accessible and tender God you are,
Available you are when men are not,
And hear our calls to you from near and far.

And when the stauchest friendship pledge goes sour,
And reassurances turn empty air,
You are the Rock, the fortress and the tower.
To lean upon and who will always care.

So close at hand, - the Lord hears instantly
Calls coming from behind the Prison bar,
And clamors rising in adversity,
No matter who the anguished callers are.

And He alone, the Lord can understand
When the best friends and kith and kin fall short,
When tribulation is around the bend,
Available is our Savior Lord!

He hears my cry when my best friend betrays,
And heals the wound with unguent and nard,
His gentle touch all hurt and pain allays,
Sweet Lord, the searcher of the human heart.

You are available when all have left,
Your presence's strength and sweetness lends support,
As you sustain the lonely and bereft,
You faithful, constant ever loving Lord!

To Him with trust I all my cares betroth,
And lay my sorrows all into His hand,
Available - alert in grief and loss,
And comprehends it to the full extent.

I thank you Savior Lord upon my knee
For all the generous gifts you did bestow,
And thanks for your Availability,
For all your pilgrim children here below.

I thank you Lord for your benignity,
And for your never-failing strong support,
And for your great availability
By day and night and everywhere kind Lord!

Thank you dear friend
This is more than just a poem
beautifully penned
Who can we turn to; Noone, but Him
I will say without a dare

Oh ED this is without any doubt such a beautiful testimony to our Lord. The heighth, the width, the depth of his very soul. Always giving even His soul. His availablity to the core!
Penned by one that should know, for you have walked your whole life with Him. You are like him, and your availabilty is the same. You would risk the highest mountain, or the largest crowds, even life itself to help another. Even learning their language so you are able to understand them.
Yes, ED you of all people should know, you have to place yourself in position where he can bless you, and this you have done.
Written beautifully and full knowing from your heart!
Warm love
consue

The most beautiful love story of all time! The love between the Creator, and the created. The Creator; for His mercy, and His love, in creating one more soul after creating so many. The created; for recognizing the love that went into that design that became her. Happiness is indeed a lifetime of praising and thanking God for the blessing of life. You, in strength and love, ring His bell loudly and continually. The ultimate sign of a happy and contented person. Bravo Elizabeth! Bravo! To live life thankfully is to recognize it’s holiness.

John
