Between you and me

As we drive
Along these concrete hills
I wonder about life
About me
About you
I’m no fool
I know what lies
Beneath these hills
Deep in your hazel-brown eyes
Yet we drive
We never think to stop
To turn back
And just see what we’ve got
Oh the indecision!
There must be a mistake
This mustn’t be true
Not me
Not you
