Comforting Arms of Death

Contributed by sprinter27 on Friday, 3rd June 2005 @ 09:37:17 PM in AEST
Topic: Suicide

I’m staring Death in the eye
And know I will soon die
I’ve been waiting for Death
To come and give me warmth
I’ve moved away from all
Waiting for my final fall
I know who’ll I’ll be caught be
Death will catch me as I die
Death’s arms are wrapped around me
As I slowly begin to bleed
Now I know what it’s like to be held
Up against someone else
And I’m glad Death is that someone
Death’s the only one that can reason
With my will to die
And holds me close when I cry
Death once whispered to me
‘Whenever you want to leave,
Just wrap your arms around my
Neck and say goodbye
To this evil place that’s your home
And come with me, so you’ll never be alone
Again’ Now I’m glad I’m next to Death
For I am just craving to be dead
I’m in Death’s arms and up next to him
This world tore me to bits
And I’m read to go
I watch as my arms slow
By Death’s neck and then
As they cling on for death
