The lady lost in the wind

Contributed by nosferatu on Friday, 3rd June 2005 @ 07:32:36 PM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

The skies are blue
And the birds
Are cherping
Todays another
Beautiful day

But for some reason
I still feel so grey
Because I am yet again
With out you my love

Yet as each day
Goes by I
Still sit and
Ponder on what
Went wrong

One minute
You were in
My arms
And the next
Minute you
Were gone

What could I have
Done to keep
You by my side
And not lose
You the way I did

The wind shall
Whisper in her ear
And upon that whisper
I shall shed
A single tear

For I will
Have let her
Go

Now alls I
Do is
Moren over a
Shallow grave
Of the one
I loved but

The beauty
She gave me
Was a child
Of my own

But its still
Not the same
With out her
By my side

So this is
Goodbye my love

Now go in peace
And let your heart
Be free with
The blue skies
And birds

As the breeze
Shall flow across
The meadows
I shall know
That your still
There by the
Breeze of the wind

So know you
Shall once again
Flow in the
Whispering wind
Of the meadow breeze

This is a sad but lovely poem.a few spelling mistakes there but apart from that it is a good read.
