jagged little pill

Contributed by seci on Friday, 3rd June 2005 @ 01:51:15 PM in AEST
Topic: drugabuse

sitting in a corner praying to leave
gun pointing toward her head where she can't breathe
i sit there and watch
to afraid to pick up the phone
so i sit and listen to the rain as i sit in my room alone
screaming, fussing and battling all through the night
he only gets like this when he is drunk
and thats when he's ready to fight
balled up in the corner of my little hiding place
no laughter or smiles, but only the saddness on my face
3 gun shoots that went completly off by my way
opened the door lightly and both are dead and i'm the
only one with nothing to say
heart skipping beats
i fall to my feet
bloody hallway and i do nothing but pack my stuff
i can't stay
i had the chance so i had to get out while i can
others may not quite understand
like jack and jill that goes up the hill
i am the jagged little pill

Hmmm this was an interesting write...I like the subliminal messages in this, and I hope at some point you choose to add another chapter to this story...

Very deep, interesting and UNIQUE write. I liked the metaphor you used in this by calling yourself the jagged little pill. This is not what I expected due to the title but it was a wonderful write!
ALINA
kudos and bravo to you!
