why was i chosen

Topic: SadPoetry

You made me think I was actually something to you,
It was all a lie, you just saw me as something to do.
I don’t want friends with benefits, I want more,
If I accepted something like that, that would make me a whore.
You have no idea how different we are,
You have left my heart deeply scared.
I wanted to be with you forever,
And you found a way for us not to be together.
It took me until now to get over you,
You on the other hand, only took a minute or two.
I was still mourning, on what I have lost,
While you were already looking for another, I was just someone that you tossed.
I don’t freakin understand why did you say yes,
Why did you do the same thing to me as the rest.
You may have liked me for a minute or two,
But It didn’t take you long to see us as through.
Well you changed me in a totally new way,
And because of you, everyone close had to pay.
You have convinced me to give up on love,
I as well lost hope, in the beautiful land above.
You kept toying with my heart, and now its broken,
Was I your next victim of tease, why was I chosen.
