"WHY DON'T YOU LISTEN?" She screams in his ear,
"HOW CAN YOU SIT THERE AND NOT EVEN HEAR?"
He shouts back at her "YOU'RE NOT MAKING SENSE!"
and it's all he can say in his flimsy defence.
"IT'S ALL GONE TOO FAR, I'M NOT LIVING HERE!"
and she stomps out of sight to pack all her gear
"WELL GO AND PACK THEN, SEE IF I CARE,
IT'LL BE A RELIEF TO HAVE YOU OUT OF MY HAIR"
So he sits, he listens, and he hears the door go.
The curtain comes down on another nights show.
The crowd are all standing, and clap 'till they're sore,
while the actors are all happy and can't wait for more...
