you wouldn't guess
that girl in the photo
was the first-chair clarinet
a violinist
that girl who knows words
you wouldn't know
the heartache she's had
the horrors she's seen
the bruises and cuts that riddled her body
only a year ago
can you see
the light in her face
nowadays?
that knowing glow
that she's finally found peace
in herself and others
she let go of her fears....
she found God.

touching
i know that when i look at a photo
i always try to look in the deeper side of the story
like every one has a history as deep
as the ocean
and in an undefined way
i seek to their heart through thier eyes
nice write
it made me think
