Since coming into my life
Leia's been such a treasure
Thinking of her puts a smile
on my face; she's such a pleasure
Was in a hurry to know her
but going slowly is sweet
This blossoming friendship
is such a rare treat
When life looks so hard
and the going gets rough
those chats with Ms. Jenni
are just the right stuff
She listens interminably
to my complaints that are many
answers with patience and love
and kindness in plenty
Then there's the threesome
Jennie, Sprints and the Spazz*
full of life and such energy
they've got real pizazz
The three of them combined
are barely my age
but their cumulative wisdom
is like that of a sage
Then there's Rita and Mylady
and Kylie's poetry fun
With e-mail's so nutty
and crazy rhyming spun
To these treasures so real
To these friendships I know
You are so good for my soul
To you so much I do owe
I love you all; thank you so much!
*Spazz is actually Spazz911, but it rhymes better as Spazz

You are so right Jaycee. Friends and family are the most important treasures in our lives. Material things can be replaced. People cannot. I consider you a friend and I am thrilled that I am a friend to you. You are a talented soul. You are also right about Leia. Best of everything.
