Depressed Feelings

Contributed by Your_baby_girl_4life on Tuesday, 31st May 2005 @ 10:29:25 PM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

Here I am sitting,
Sitting on the couch.
Thinking......
Thinking about life,
Why do we exist?
Why am I here?
There is nothing good.
Nothing good at all.
Life is just about heartaches,
Losing friends,
Dying loved ones,
Boyfriends and girlfriends lying and cheating.
What is the point?
No one is ever happy.
Their always sad and depressed.
Even if they seem happy they aren't.
They may have painted a face on to make people
think they are happy.
What is the point?
Everyone is miserable.
You watch movies and read books
they all seem happy but they are acting.
They act happy because they know they never will be.
What's the point in marriage?
Everyone will split up from depression.
What's the point in having kids?
They will grow up to be sad and depressed also.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
