every day appears dark to the mind,
getting your hopes up for a good moment of any kind,
but in the end you find out that you were blind,
to see that your request was declined.
you sit down and try to reflect,
seeing where in life you were incorrect,
visons - feelings - emotions have you in disrespect,
cause once again you were swatted down like some pointless insect

Don't try so hard to rhyme next time; it seemed a little forced, which made the flow of it a bit off. You have a good concept though. Keep up the writes....
