Yet so...

Contributed by pUnKa_RaCh on Tuesday, 31st May 2005 @ 09:08:43 PM in AEST
Topic: selfstruggles

I am still young but yet I feel so old and aged
Wrinkling away inside like a dirty scrunched up page
I am still breathing but yet the air in my lungs is waning
The oxygen is poisonous causing reckless damage and paining

I am still smiling but yet tucked away inside there lies a frown
A private sick person who in her own madness will drown
I am righteous but yet so soaked in sin and ungodliness
Never to be forgiven though I live in regret and nakedness

I am so creative but yet my thoughts do quickly fade
Just sit here in denial around the emptiness I have made
I am so purposeful but yet so aimless as I wander
Fooling everyone as I secretly run through all darkness and yonder

I am so ***** happy but yet so strangely dejected
Every day I live is sad as joy my heart has swiftly rejected
I am stable but yet so close to suicidal
I am so mournful in black but yet so near to being bridal.
