Bad Friend

Contributed by sprinter27 on Monday, 30th May 2005 @ 09:22:59 PM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

I have to say, friend
I don’t trust you anymore
You left me to an end
To fight the war
Without you at my side
Sure, I’ve got others
But, I want it to be you beside
Me… but you don’t bother
I’m tired of it
You were a horrible friend
Tore me to bits
Left me wishing I was dead
I know I wish that
But, friend…. Why you?
If you want, give me a bat
You already proved yourself untrue
Why don’t you go all the way?
And show how bad you really are?
You left me that day
Walked away…. far
I hate you, now
Is that what you want?
Tell me why, tell me how
We lost our plant
Of care and trust
Why were you nice, then mean?
Why’d you throw me in the dust?
Now I’ve got no where to lean
Because you became a bad friend
And left me alone
To defend
Myself on my own
