My Daddy I shall Remember!!

My Daddy, how I still remember you. I played with you, and you with me also. How much fun we had together, you and I, so many years ago, Daddy.

Daddy, your little girl, still remembers the love you had for me. I still love you also, even though you are not with us,
You have been gone so many years now Daddy.

I am no longer your LITTLE GIRL. Daddy, I am All grown up now . Don’t know if life is quite right, with you gone for so long, unable to lead me along life’s path.

I don’t blame you Daddy, when that car wreck took your life. They say you was drunk? Was you Daddy? Say it isn’t True?

I remember coming upon the sight of the wreck. You still in the car. I began to scream for you, NO DADDY, NO NOT MY DADDY!!!!.
We knew however, that death had come upon you, for the white sheet of death laid upon your lifeless body, Mom could not go to you, they would not let her, you was gone, you had left us on that day June 9th 1981 almost 24 years now.

I was only 10 years old when it happened and I was forever changed, I missed you so much Daddy, I was no longer your little girl Daddy. I learned to grow faster then maybe I would have if you had not past away. But I still love you, I still remember you.

All these years later I still remember you Daddy, but only with the mind of that child, that 10 year old child, she was the only one who knew you, and can remember you Daddy. I MISS YOU.
Love,
Your Daddy’s Girl
