Words are thrown without a thought
And the damage can’t be healed
The inflictions placed upon our hearts
Is pain we keep concealed
Underneath our skin
We bare each others scars
And the emotions on the inside
Lie only beyond the stars
An unspoken promise
To be each others only lover
Leaves us with a brokenness
We’ve impressed upon each other
But we keep our misery locked away
And dwell within this sin
Waiting in the darkness
For another love to win
