Dark is my Hell
And it Lives in my heart
With so much pain
It rips me apart
I have so much hate
And it cuts to my heart
It rips out my soul
And tears me apart
My eyes are black
And darker I see
The death in my life
For death is in me
I want to kill
To release my pain
But I don’t want the shame
That comes with this game
I hold this knife
To take my life
But pride that’s in me
Will set me free
Black or Gray
The whole world is dark
For in my life
I’ve lost all of my heart
Cut my own wrists
So they will bleed
And release all this pain
that’s held with in me
My fears grow stronger
As my eyes start to cry
For I’ve lost my place
And I’m alone in my life
I dig through my depths
To find my soul
But all I see left
Is this big black hole
I found your love
And it ripped me apart
But I can’t complain
For I gave you my heart
Soon I will die
For my heart will depart
With a string of blood
It will cut me apart

wow a lot of emotion put into this. it's amazing, *claps* i really reeeally like it. i can totally relate to these feelings... but use the paper as a sorce of relief, never the knife. i just hope your metaphorically speaking when you say things like "slit my own wrists". brilliant poem, one of my favorites i think.
