Until We Meet Again......

Contributed by xXx_Fem_Fatale_xXx on Sunday, 29th May 2005 @ 12:16:11 PM in AEST
Topic: Grief

Radiant like a red rose
Brilliant like a daffy dale
Puur like a white lily
Friendly like a daisy
Like branches of a tree
So strong you were
This is how I will remember
The lady that lays before me
Feeling as cold like mother winter
So liveless like a bird asleep
With the peaceful smile
Laying upon your face
Forever in me mind
This is how I will remember you,
Me sweet lady I call Gran,
May the angels watch over you
And God be your friend
As they guide you thru the passings
In the here after we named Heaven
For now no longer together
But forever held in me memory
Soothed by the thought,
I say to you Gran,
Until we meet again.....

What a beautiful, enlightened poem Nats! It's so nice that you find comfort in the fact that you'll see each other again...

An enchanting read, makes me remember my grandfather and how close we were.
I'm sure she is watching over you

Nats, I don't know what to say...I am almost speechless. That is such a beautiful poem. A little sad but you also bring happiness in it with a smile and the "Until we meet again". Beautiful!

I often try to say to people until we meet again, whether here or passed. It's so much better than good-bye. Good-bye just sometimes sounds so final.

This was incredible.

Huggggssss,

Tim
