A Girl In Bloom

Contributed by xXx_Fem_Fatale_xXx on Sunday, 29th May 2005 @ 03:50:03 AM in AEST
Topic: DreamsandWishes

Bloom little girl
As your petals unfold
Flowering so boldly
By the touch of Spring
Surrounded by butterflies
Gently caressing your skin
Shine ever so bright
Like the golden rays of sun

Bloom little girl
So sweet like a daisy
In a field of wonders and hopes
Rambling roses wandering
Out into the open world
Ever so curious and fond
For the long road ahead
Grow high above ground
Like the tree of life so inviting

Bloom little girl
With love and kindness
Filling your tender heart
May the road before you
Be fullfilling and sweet
A journey ever so filled
With memories to keep
Those are me wishes
For a girl in bloom.....

A really sweet poem, very touching. The image of a little girl blossoming like a rose throughout life is truly inspiring and captures the moment perfectly, great choice of imagery.

Keep writing, you indeed have a great talent :)

Take care,
Lots of love,
