Tortured Memories

Contributed by Makeshift_2134 on Saturday, 28th May 2005 @ 10:33:27 PM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

I thought of all that we could be.
All the things you couldn’t see.
I felt love grow deep inside me.
Never thought you’d ever love me.

Can’t you see that we’re running out of time?
I am dying but I die inside.
Why did you make everything crash down?
Now my tears are falling down.
Loneliness is all I see.
Waiting for memories to stop haunting me
This isn’t the way that it should be.

I’ll wait the time, and I won’t argue.
Sit with fallen tears, a picture of you
When I close my eyes, you are all I see.
Running for a new life…one without me.
But you are all I got inside me.
This isn’t the way that it should be.

I can’t stop missing you, I can’t deal with the pain.
All I have left is memories and their driving me insane.
After all this time, after all that we’ve been through.
I’m completely stuck…Can’t be with or without you

hi I really loved your poem. Me and my boyfriend of 4 1/2 years broke up 2 months ago and still it hurts like it just happend yesterday, but now that we just graduated it might make it easier because I don't see him all of the time, but maybe if you hang ouut with your friends alot more or try dating someone else it might work. I wish you the best and I am so sorry for your heartbreak.

Awesome! That was a great poem. I'm very sorry. Atleast you achieved some great writing skills out of the whole mess. Great job!
