Is This... It?

Contributed by abnormalpunk on Saturday, 28th May 2005 @ 02:59:56 PM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

the end has arrived
and i'm stuck here
right in the middle of it

where do i go from here
when there is only one way
to choose from

if this is all i have
what am i longing for
when i have let go of everything

i went where i wanted
and ended up here
right back at the place i started

i stand here staring
at you standing there and staring
at the brick wall between us

my hands are scarred
with memories of then
and stained with words i said

perverse fun
dies in the morning
at the birth of your regret

life equals waste.
is that what you wanted
when you accomplished your goals

underneath it all
you uncover yourself
just to find your next layer bolted shut

We all have free will. If you are unhappy with your life then change it. No one can but you. Always remember that and wrongs can be righted no matter what anyone says.
