Tales of a Drunk

Contributed by hauntedscorp on Saturday, 28th May 2005 @ 12:28:13 PM in AEST
Topic: drugabuse

Give me rye, vodka, rum or beer
whatever poison you like; just keep it near
I prefer the hard stuff, but whatever you've got
be it red wine or white, bubbly, just give me a shot!!
You see, just about anything'll do....
expensive or cheap, hell even moonshine too!

Damnit I got this itch that I just can't scratch
look at me boys! A drunk girl---ain't I a catch??
oh man I've gone too long, the dt's are setting in
dizzy, shaking, hot...my air's getting thin
My doc said my liver's all fouled up; that I need to quit
so lets cheers for old times sake, and pass me one last hit.

Author's note: I'm just tipping my hat to a milestone I kicked to the curb a long time ago....Scorp ; )

Claps for you!! I am so proud of you, Scorp. I have known so many people that have gone through this. It is not easy and so many do fail, but those that succeed find a strength they didn't realize they had and find that self-pride. I say "Yeah for our Scorp, and another 50 more."

Smiles,
Rita
