Stu

Granny was walking along the path
Enjoying the rains aftermath
From under a leaf she heard a sound
She looked and a small ladybug she found

Into her hand the bug did climb
Saying my lady your hair looks sublime
Flatterer Granny exclaimed
Then laughed kind Sir my heart you tamed

He told her his name was Stu
And he had a story for you
Of his travels from far down south
And his escape from a Cardinals mouth

He talked of grand weather
And how soft was a dove’s feather
Timeless was the tales he spun
And it was near dark before he was done

Granny thanked him for the company
And set him on a flower sweet
She turned to go back again home
And from her place she would not roam

For she was comfortable where she was
And did not want to travel as Stu does
But his adventures she loved to hear
And hoped he would once again draw near

Now that was so unique, whoever heard of talking to a ladybug except to say, "Fly Fly Away little ladybug your home is on fire, your children will burn up!" of such when I was child, and still today.
This was fantastic Shari, I was right there with Granny. Listening, and your images in my mind eye were so vivid and radiant. You are so talented Shari. You should write children's stories and put them all neatly in a book.
Wonderful
Warm love
consue
