SPROUT'N TENNIES

SPROUT'N TENNIES

'Twas high and below,
stacked steep, and sticky
like Velcro!
Spring housecleaning
brings me much sorrow!
There's mold, and no gold...
Dirt and grime, sublime!
But this year a miracle
occurred, unheard throughout
all time.
I reached for my
Tennies
behind the foot stand.....
They moved, I jumped,
the dogs ran.....

There's something growing
between the Saran!
If all Heaven fell upon
my head, I swear......
My old Tennies have sprouted
I do declare!
Just like onions in my kitchen
They've grown sprouts,
an unknown
function!
Green, Yellow, Brown
Spring cleaning meltdown!
I'm quite insane,
I need more champagne!

I checked again
just to see.....
After a drink or two
'er maybe
three.....
They've changed colors
and are blluuurrry.....
Looks like wings
all flapppy...
My Tennies are flyingggg,
My little cockatiel upon
a bike is ridinnnng,....
Oh Shooot for the hooot
let the spring cleaning gooooo.....
I'd rather sit here
and watch the shooow!

The trouble is, I can't remember if it's

Awefully cute this Consue. You sure know how to make a poem out of the smallest thing.

Comes to mind:
Upon this speech the valiant maid replkied:
"Imagination Sirs of course it is
This is the gentle way wherewith
The Lord will prod her first and then provide."

Fitright? Ha ha ha
Loved it
Warm love
Elizabeth

I'm smiling! it's nearly 3 in the morning here and I came in 3 hours ago from a very drunken barbeque at my sisters.
Anyway I fell asleep (as you do) and woke up to find my son and sister had shaved a huge bald patch on my thigh! familys who'd have 'em? so enjoy your champagne and spring cleaning as for me i'm off to bed in a bit to prepare myself for tomorrows hangover.

Johnny.

Now I know what I have been doing wrong in spring cleaning all these years. I have been waiting for the drinks AFTER the cleaning. Sounds like much more fun your way. This and you are absolutely adorable.
