Insufferable Sorrow

Contributed by FleurdeSang on Friday, 27th May 2005 @ 01:10:54 PM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

An illusion hangs by the gallows of night,
Melancholy dresses in gowns of white tears,
Threads of memory spark tales of love,
Lost and found, plastic container holding my black heart…

Life strains by in the morning, and many more in the afternoon,
Tales of nothing weaving inside my mind,
Captured beauty, hidden between the celestial hands,
A miniscule lapse in time,
Your smile…

Heavy blankets of rain and lamentations abusing my window,
Pain, beyond any human comprehension,
Beauty found in death, take a look in the mirror,
See how nicely I decay?

Lost forevermore in your sea of Forget,
Nothing links back to me, depthless agony,
A spot of darkness in an ocean of shadows,
Worthless… unseen…

Ambiguous words of divinity and sin,
Demons raping me in my dreams, depraved soul,
Unworthy of a friendly hand,
Only friendly hate…

Writing a voice with letters that are not mine,
But yours (flash of rain and darkness)
A stretch of dead roses dwell within,
Bleeding internally, cold in the soul,
In your ruthless black eyes,
In your fearful hands…

And as I perish, abandoned in endless insanity,
All that is left is my legacy,
Of insignificant jargon…

It will not always be this way my angelic friend. Days of beauty you write and days of sad sorrow that hold your heart from within.
I so want you to feel the happy days ahead.

(((HUGS)))))

Terrific write

Wow I read this last night and was rendered
speechless and after a full day of only being
able to utter indecipherable grunts I still do
not have an adequate comment to place, but I
will try my best. I loved how the pain in this
poem was depcited so eloquently and
poetically. You have definitely painted a
startling picture of your pain within these
lines.

Hugs,
Bobo (joel)

I was trying to think of a suitable comment to match the eloquence of the words you have written here.
The only words I can find to write at this time are...............amazing, awe-inspiring and incredible.
