I am aroused by a vivid noise
As the wind howls out your name
You're always playing with my head
Your sick and twisted little game
It doesn't matter where I go
You're always two steps ahead
I am so afraid of you
I'm scared I'll wind up dead
Why do you torment me
Please leave me alone
Let me pick up the pieces
Help myself heal and atone
I jump at every sound
In fear that it's you
I've too long suffered at your hands
The mental and physical abuse
I can no longer take it
My emotions collide
I want so much to
Run away and hide
An elegy of pain
Sings away at my heart
If I don't make a stand for myself
I'll be lulling the next part
A deep grave awaitens me
Dug by your very hands
If I want to live to see tomorrow
I guess I better take that stand...

There are women shelters out there--contact police.
No woman should have to fear any man.
Also there are many places that offer free consuling.

Wow, how vividly written...I can relate to this so much that it brings out tears. If this is what you are experiencing atm, be strong and reach out to loved ones, friends, anyone that is willing to listen. This may be the darkest time but there comes light after the dark. Ohh how I know this is true.....

I don’t want to sound like a broken record and say the same thing on my comments but it is true with all your work. You always inspire me with your work and they are always written so well. This one is sad and has so much emotion and pain in it. I really like the strong ending on this write it brings chills to read.

Oh Sue dear, I'm so glad you came to the conclusion. You can run and run and run, but he will still be there.........Take a stand, and he will leave you alone! I know!!!That's one thing cowards like him don't know....stand! They are the ones who ran and will keep running if only you hold your ground!

Sue, you have the strength inside you. Do not accept abuse as a way of life. No one, man, woman, or child deserves abuse. Take that stand and do it now. Get up and walk out. Do not allow yourself to be a victim. If you don't like your life, change it, for only you can.

Wo friend,
I'm so sorry I'm so far behind on reading my friends work etc. Being a voleenteer, I don't always find time to catch up some. I'm truly sorry it's taken me this long to get here.
I hope u r doing o.k. Please contact me asap.
Learn some self defence moves and you'll feel much better avbout yourself and learn to stand up to the idiots out there that live on others fear. I don't belive in violence but I do believe in defeinding those I luv and friends too. Get u some Tai Bo tapes by Billy ????????? don't remember the last name.
Trust me your fear will vanish. I use to do it with my grandaughters 'cause in our age we need to know these things just in case. I don't know alot of self defence but I know enuff that some ******* best thank fast before hurting some one I luv. Raising three children alone I had to learn how to defiend them and myself. I taught them and they taught me.
