I sit alone feeling sorry for myself
Wondering where I went wrong
My life should have been something else
Had so many dreams that didn’t come true
The only thing I’ve got left…is you
I feel the tears welling in my eyes
Fighting off the feelings I hold deep inside
I don’t know where I’m going
Or what I could have been
Why don’t things ever go to plan?
I wish I could change my life
I wish I could turn everything around
But every time things start to look up
They always fall back down
You make all the pain go away
You make me want to stay
I know I couldn’t leave you behind
You’re the only thing that makes my life worthwhile
