GO GIRL GO!!!
There's one misconception that I adore,
I love being old........old ladies get by
with so much anymore!
Kissing and not looked down upon
And hugs.........Oh how I love those hugs
While people watch and say, "Isn't that sweet!"
I'm feeling just like I was 16 again...........'tis really neat!!!
They think old ladies can't feel..........Boy are they wrong,
Romantic feelings die down some, but when they
do appear......
Whoooooooooopy!
And then there's another issue to understand.
They say when your looks are gone
you're never any longer scanned.
Shucks honey, who cares, I can't see the
outside of my body,
I can only see the inside, the heart,
and enthusiastic soul, fun and bubbly.
There's one more thing I'd love to bring up
right here and now!
As young lassies, confidence was not our greatest
trait, but we've grown some "know-how!"
If we wish, we can be a mean old biddy, or
even a living witch......
People just watch us and say, "Well,
she's either crazy or old, don't know which?"
Ahhhhhhhhhh and when my friends in the "Red Hat Club"
Go out for a cocktail to a nice bar or Pub.....
They may serve us drinks and never ask for our ID.
But for Senior Citizens the drinks are absolutely free!
Observed by many, said, "She's nearing her demise.
"Don't believe your eyes, you young naughty guys,
I can still breathe and I can still wiggle......
Numb my arthritic pain with some wine, come
on over honey, let's cuddle!"
When my red hat friend and I leave this drinking
establishment
We'll attach our rears to our motorcycle and rubber
to the pavement!
And when we do decide to take that long last ride.
We'll be screaming, "Lots of Living we never denied,
Not one single thing we never tried,
Remember us as into our new home we slide,
Life was a massive, active, votive,
and unforgettable joyride!!!"
A friend sent me

I don't think you need the exhaust at the end of the motorbike Connie ... 'Cause all any of us tryin to keep up with you are gonna see, is that puff of smoke and the dust devil you leave behind ... Yeah, You go girl !!!
