DAY of DEATH

Pain wrenches through my heart
Making it impossible to be strong
To find any presence of hope
My apologies I just can’t go on
This world’s too ruthless
Inhabited by loveless mankind
One’s who entice and destroy
And in misery your soul they bind
The days are too long
And the sunlight tires my eyes
Even the night brings no magic
As in sad memories my mind cries
Only one holy day
Can erase the anguish that does unfold
My only redemption from this pain
In which I have been sold
Upon this day of all days
My wicked blood shall slowly spill
Being soaked into the dust
As my life comes to nil
Arising is my end
Upon the clouds so high
My life force starts to fade now
Escaping as these arteries bleed dry
Waiting at Hell’s Gates
I can envision the Dark Angel
Already starting to appear
Thy day of death is finally here…

Love the messenger – hate the message. What else to say for such a talent to write – yet use such dismal words. Life is lived, so to change that which is wrong; NOT to accept the unacceptable.
To live the allotted time, regardless of the dissatisfaction with the “status-quo” is the only way to change things to the better way. Then someday, there may be a life everyone can look forward to – day, after day, after day.
You have a talent for the use of words. Create hope, instead of despair. Radiate happiness instead of anguish. You have the ability! Do you have the desire? I’ll bet you do.
I wish you happiness.
John
