I stare at the warm and breezy sea
Oddly, to the left of my eye, I see a stunningly beautiful bee
She was Buzzing along
As if nothing was wrong
She flew onto the palm of my gentle hand
What she was doing I could hardly understand
One of lifes greatest lessons, I was about to be told
She told me to cherish it like a pot of gold
The charming bee asked sharply, "Who are you?"
Seconds turned into few
I felt terrible, as if I failed an exam
She told me the suprising answer, "I think, therfore, I am"
The power to think differently
Quicker then a blink or a wink
Makes you who you are
She left my hand, and I felt bizarre
Towards the sea she flew
Eventually becoming out of view

Based on something that really happened? I mean, I know a bee didn't talk to you, but I can understand if that's what you were thinking when this happened.
If this isn't based on a real life experience, then I'm lost as to the purpose of it. |
