Drape them across
Shoulders
And wrap you in them
Just so that you can
Hold me closer than
Anyone ever
I have never felt so warm
Can you feel it?
There is no ground beneath our feet
I hope you are not afraid of heights
I want you to trust me
I want to be your world
I feel like my heart will burst
It is so much for me
Almost too much
But then just like that
You kiss me and it is as if
It could stop and never start up again
I love you and how you make me feel

| I really liked your poem. Even though it didn't have a real rythm to it, it was still nice. The description of feeling and relating the feeling of a kiss to that of flight was great. Keep up the good work! ^_^ |
