A Princess and a Warrior

Topic: LovePoetry

I sit at home and surf the web,
As I look my interest slowly ebbs,
Waiting is so painful, making my heart jitter and twitch,
I await your arrival. Anticipation becoming more like a persistent itch,
The doorbell rings, I open the door and pounce on you,
'Hello Studmuffin! How are you?'
You say you are happy now and I am pleased,
I have missed you, even though lately I have been such a tease.

We shut the door and go upstairs,
I can feel your hand petting my soft blonde hair,
Your breath is warm; your hands are too,
'Je t’aime,' I whisper, French for I love you,
'Je t’aime aussi, I love you as well,
Of the next few hours not a soul I can tell.

On my bed we lay, all alone in the silence,
I have been fond of the quiet since,
I edge closer to you, and rest my head upon your chest,
You gently kiss my forehead and gently touch my breast,
I listen to your thumping heart, soothed by its steady beat,
This intimacy with any other person I will not repeat,
I nuzzle under your chin, and start to purr,

You lean closer to me until your deep brown eyes are all I can see,
I become lost in the darkness, pain, and mystery of your brown seas,
You trace the features of my face,
'Flawless,' you whisper, I can feel your heart race,
I close my eyes and we begin to kiss,
An embrace so close and so tight you leave me breathless,

Our minds and bodies become connected, as if transformed into one creature,
I tremble, skittish at first; you gently nudge frightened feelings away, of love you are my best teacher,
'No one will ever hurt you, not while I’m around,
You’re my beautiful princess, and someday I’ll even buy you a sparkling crown.'

I cling to you, until my nails dig into your back,
I cry out to you as I feel the bubble around painful pleasure crack,
It feels so good that it hurts,
Only to be soothed by your comforting words,

All too soon we break apart, happy and exhausted,
Again you trace the features of my face, now blushing and heated,
'My beautiful princess, my lovely rose,'
I place my hands on his face, 'My brave warrior, I am so glad I’m the one you chose.'

The clock says a time too late to be true,
I want nothing more than to lay here with you,
'I’ll miss you and think of you until I fall asleep, then of you I'll dream,'
'Good night my brave warrior, my heart you have conquered and in it you rein supreme,'
'I’ll miss you too, there is never a moment I don’t wish for your caress,'
'Good night and pleasant dreams, my beautiful princess.'
