All My Feelings For You

Contributed by midnightwriter on Thursday, 26th May 2005 @ 03:29:00 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

With the breeze in your hair and the moonlight reflecting off your face, I find it so lovely and so fair. I love your smile not one thing in you is vile. Will you remember me as well, described as such? Do you find anything good in me, something that you love about me just as much?
First time I saw you girl, you gave my world a twist and a swirl. I knew you were different the way you walked, the words you used when you talked. I like what I see; I like what you allow me to be. These past few years were hard on me, the bitterness and anger that resides in me, I hope it does not show, I hope you cannot see. Don’t turn away though there is true love that resides in me, I’ve just been through so much, I need a tender touch, someone who can be there for me. Girl won’t you just love me, take me in your arms and just hold me. I’m a man that has been broken, I need my spirit revived and awoken. I was going through life without direction and just trying to make it, I had a bad attitude towards a lot of things, and living life damn sometimes I just hate living it. Funny thing is though you make everything come alive for me, don’t stop being who you are so you can set me free. Your energy is magnetic even energetic, I truly believe in myself when you are around, you help me reach inside and see all the good things that can be found.
It’s amazing what love can do; I hope you feel the same about me, as I do you. Please don’t let me go, don’t let me down, keep me up there, girl I never want to see you frown.
Your all I have, my family has left me emotionally, not many people I can count on except maybe you, be true to me girl help me out even spiritually. I can’t sleep at night because my mind is racing and thinking about you. I just want to stay and be very near to you. Don’t ever close me out, can’t you see I’m already shaking at the thought. Don’t ever put me on hold or a reroute. Just wanted to get everything off my chest, I sure hope I did my best. Now you understand and can figure out the rest. Maybe we will work out, maybe we won’t, and regardless of that you have helped me out. I won’t ever forget the small moments we had together, I promise I’ll remember you forever.

good write... reminds me of what i tried to do in my poem 'The Look' about having a whole conversation with someone when you make eye contact with them across a room... thats what i got from this poem too, like you saw someone and made eye contact with them, and even though it lasted less than a second you had a whole entire conversation with them... i'm probably wrong with my analysis but i figured i'd give it a shot anyway lol... well, good write, keep 'em coming and take care
