Thru me windows
The morning light has passed
Listening to laughter and joy
Muffled by only a door
Waking up by child noises
As they call out for mom
Realising I am that person
They call out for so loud
Eight months have passed
The house so empty
With only memories
To fullfill me soul
Cheerful is the day
When I welcome back
The two precious souls of me
As they smile upon me presence
No longer parted
A family reunited
To be discovered
All over new
Holding you close beside me
While I whisper in your ears
Fly me children
On the wings of mother love

A child is a mirror of yourself, so to miss them is like staring into a mirror and seeing nothing.
Im happy that you are re-united

Eight months, Nats! That had to be hard on you. Yet, like the trooper you are you still wrote a wonderful poem for them welcoming them home. That is truly beautiful and you must be truly an inspiration to them; for this poem, where you declare your devotion and love for them is inspiring to me.
Huggggsss,
Tim
