Pain and Comfort

Contributed by sride686 on Thursday, 26th May 2005 @ 12:55:25 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

Daring and bold,
beauty and pride
A strong women
with so much pain
That you hide
You smile and joke
But I’m not a fool
I feel your pain
And it cuts to my soul
For you had a life
That once was yours
But just like me
That marriage was torn
You lost a love
And you lost your life
Now you and your son
Are alone in your life
You have so much strength
And eternal bliss
To continue so strong
In a life such as this
Your beauty I see
In the strength you give me
For my life is lost
And in so much pain
But you give me a smile
When I hear your name
And its your cute country voice
That always drives me insane
But its your heart that I need
To comfort my pain
And I need it tonight
So hold me close
So I wont have to cry
And comfort my pain
That comes from inside
For we’re to lost souls
And together will cry
And find our comfort
And strength from our life’s
For a love may come
And a love may go
But strength from our words
Will forever grow
For if we’re together
Or forever apart
You’ve touch my life
And you’ll be in my heart

A very nice write that tells of love's struggles and triumphs! It's good to hear that you've found someone to share yourself with. Keep up the great writing as usual and look forward to more. dw
