like a rose on the water
i float through the stream
this dream that gets hotter
soon tears at the seam
pluck me from rage
the waters of white
my future's a stage
that won't let me fight
like a rose wilting slow
i stare at the trees
rows upon rows
leaves fall unto me
save me from sorrow
a pin pushing heart
please no tomorrow
i don't wanna start...
...another day without her....

A wonderful, but sad romantic write, which seems to focus on love lost. I really like the flow(no pun intended)and rhythum of this poem.

Now this was a great right dw. It flows so well and truly was a flawless write my friend. Your talent never stop amazing me. You are a great writer and event though there is so much pain in these words and I know how it feels to miss someone this much it was still beautifully put together. Keep up the good work I look forward to more. Sorry I’ve been gone for so long life over here has been crazy….Steve |
