Is there no one in this world for me?
Is there not a one who can heal all this hurt?
To scrape the slut dirt from my skin and make me clean again?
I have cut my wrists with the blades of memory so many times,
Watched the blood run down into my river of tears.
Lift me out of my prison of pain.
Take me to where you are,
A place of love and security.
Hold me close, and tell me that you love me…
But actually mean it this time...
I need that one so bad,
I can almost taste him through the salt and steely layers on my bleeding tongue.
I let him in, so close to me,
Fed him the sweet bread of trust,
And the lustful sugar of love.
I gave him my heart,
Then my soul,
Then myself as a whole.
And he took my fair body and cut every translucent vein,
Watching as the red bled down,
I lay here, the dying virgin I am.
Never to love again,
For there is no blood left in my heart to love with.
My body will blow away,
Long forgotten,
Like dust in the wind,
That’s all I am to you,
Dust blown to nowhere.

| Hey, Wow this poem is soo emotional I've been there, and well actually I'm going through it now... and I've been there off and on, b.c right when I get over my love... right when I look into his eyes, all the memories fade away, and then after he hurts me again, there is just more painful memories to add to the collection... well I gues I'm gonna stop rambling on lol.. well This is a truly beautiful poem! Great Write! and I hope you get through this, I also cry for you! Good Luck!!! Stay Strong!! |

Yes I have been hurt, and I will never forget how he broke my heart. He was my first love and he abused the love I had for him. I understand, keep going, you will find someone, but be patient. I am moving on now but it's so hard and the scars still haunt me. Msg me if you would like someone to talk to.
