|
sarah lays shivering like moonlight
she breaks apart like falling stars
i watch her eyes melt into tears
as her palms harden into stone
she cuts through her skin as she gives in
to her blood that flows through her like life
she dont believe she is breathing
untill she sees her breath like smoke
on a cold night
we are all just oceans
full only because we have to be.
she cant take this river on her boat she
just carries her heavy body to the sea
i want to save her but i am
huddled in the corner of the room
not carrying any words that could ignite her
i just sit
wishing i dont burn out
too soon
sarah is a wind
blowing on the pastures
sarah is a new borns bright eyes
sarah maybe she lived
much faster
crashing
like the waves into
night sky
