What to be and where to pit?
Shall I stand or shall I sit?
Inject the day with bloodshot grey
Or fake it so with tickling wit?
You don’t know what to be…
What of tomorrow?
What of the beast?
A monster that does rightly feast
That little leech of sorrow
A dawn to hot for us to swallow
Ha! A dawn too hot?
Then here comes the question
Shall we dance or shall we not?
As every day will be tomorrow
With or without that leech of sorrow
…My friend, it’s up to you.

I really like that part. I don't know, I get the feeling there should be more here, or something. Like... you're just starting to make the poem good, and then it just stops.
It is good, though I wish there were more.
Good write,
*hugs* Phil xxx |
