Sitting beside my friends here,
the people i love,
smiling happily,
always held in my heart so near.
And if anything should happen,
to those friends,
It'd break my heart,
my world and life would end.
They make my life,
so happy
so sweet,
they help me get by
each day
each week.
I sit here
unimproved
and remain unchanged
but for my life
they build a frame
When I lose faith
and when i think theres no hope,
they keep my spirits high
they help me cope
lying back to have a smoke
I think of all the good times,
And let them roll
