Empty shell

It feels like I lost myself,
but I care no more.
I see smiles all around me.
If I can't be happy, please let others.

No more do I care if I'm sad.
I simply choose to ignore.
Let the people that I love be happy.
Then at least someone will be.

When I look at her, I no longer feel anything.
I only care if she's happy.
Then I at least have a reason to live
this life without sadness.

Once upon, I cared for myself
No more, I say.
If I do, I'll return to the pain.
So for now, I'm just an empty shell.

it's sometimes like that isn't it, but maybe we gotta face that pain sooner or later, cos it's hard for it to just fade away.

While every care is taken to ensure the general sites content is family safe, our moderators cannot be in all places; all the time. Parents also please ensure that you supervise your children well when they are on the internet; regardless of what a site says about being, or being considered, child-safe.
