The Flower

Spring comes along and a flower is born.
A flower that blooms each year at this time
A flower that was planted ten years ago
By a little boy that isn't with us anymore
This boy put all his heart in a little seed
Struggling to put this little seed in the soil,
Hoping this seed would grow to be a flower
But each year his heart would get weaker
And each year his seed would not bloom.
His heart finally gave up at age ten,
Before he got to see that flower bloom
Before he got to see that flower grow
But that spring after his early death
The flower broke through that hard soil
And bloomed a beautiful flower,
A beautiful flower with ten petals

First poem, first *****, the first time the flower bloomed to remind you to cherish life. He may have asked an angel to help it bloom to remind you he will see you soon.

An incredible write indeed. Full of strong and vivid imagry and such a bittersweet tale. I love it. Deep, powerful and thought-provoking. Very well written. Thanks for sharing and keep writing :o)
