realized

Do you know what I've realized?
they think I'm a joke
I thought they knew me, too bad they don't

I thought I was Ok
not too pritty, not plain
but even in that I wasn't playing the same game

I thought I was smart
but a genious they say
and they use all my work and they mock it away

I thought I was fun
but instead I'm a freak
and I realized just how much their words mean to me

I thought I was diiferent
but now I'm just weird
so they hide me, avoid me and glance around for the week

I had trusted them
thought they knew the real me
but now i'm a liar, a fake, I can't deal

people I now
my best friends in the world
they call a ***** and probably think I'm a hor

i can't understand it
afterall that I've done
that they could just turn their back on me, run

why dotn they like me
why cause the pain that i feel
I thought I was pepppy , and so full of zeal

I thought I was funny
poked fun at once/twice
I thought i was laughing w/ them, but I'm really laughed at

This was a painful poem to read, so full of pain that yiou have expressed well. KC, having also read Jennie's comment, I fervently hope that you have (at least partially) misunderstood the situation. There may be some cruel people out there - often there are - but Jennie is there for you, and I am sure you have some friendships you can lean on. For those that are mean to you that way, well, I would say you don't need them. I know that doesn't take the pain away, but it is true nonetheless. You will find your true friends in all this, and I hope you feel better soon. You have always shown me a side that is nice and friendly and I am sure (with the exception of mean, jealous types) that others see that, too. Be well.
