False Suicider

Contributed by so_fetch on Tuesday, 24th May 2005 @ 06:07:18 PM in AEST
Topic: oops

Don't wear your shallow cuts on parade
Waving your arms about
While the rest of us wear long sleeves
Throughout the whole year
You and your dark mascara
Running down your face
Covered in blood
Covered in false tears

Look at you
Who wants to make themselves insane?
Look at the lines on your poor wee arms
Carved by a ******* butter knife
You have no strife
And trust me baby
If you were suicidal you'd be dead by now!

Pain and hurt Isn't something to be proud of
You just love the
{Attention)
Go on show them your bruises
But dont forget to mention
You caused them yourself
In an obvious place

Baby look at you
So upset
They didn't like the scars did they?
{Wern't impressed}
By your fake sad face
You sometimes forgot to put it on
Maybe that's why
They don't love you
Or maybe it's because
They know you too well

I liked this poem. I have scars that run deep upon my wrist but i also do not wear long sleeves. I hate when people actually do put them selves out there like the way you described that is just wanting attention and that is something stupid to want to gain. I do hide my scars for most to see though cuz i don't need them talking badly about me. I liked this alot. I wish people would just stop pretending to act like they have problems when they actually don't...

Gets on my nerves when people parade their "depression" for attention, but it also gets on my nerves when people sit and be quiet about their so called "problems" and look depressed and hope someone will notice and think that by not putting themselves out there they are not looking for attention when they are. Im sure you know people like this.
