God’s Human Face

Lifes most frightening experiences are the lessons learned in the most unusual ways. A boy from a poor family at a prestigious prep-school among the city’s wealthiest sons. All taught by a company of Jesuit priests.
Under the tutorage of these giants of God, the affluent never recognized my poverty, and I was never made aware of their more fortunate circumstances. All friendships made, still last to this day.
The Jesuit order is responsible for the simple pleasures with which life has blessed me. To me, they are in the image of God’s likeness.
God is a Jesuit . . . it’s as plain as can be
No matter my plight, He is there for me.
From the first day I became aware
They have been within, and are always there.
The Jesuits taught me how to pray . . .
Before; during; and at the end of each day.
The impossible task of temperament control
had become for me the impossible goal
but to them, just another stone in the road
which they taught me to clear, to lighten my load.
When life presented more than I could bear . . .
my band of Jesuits were always there,
assisting, advising, and asking of God
that I be found worthy of His affirmative nod.
They blessed my marriage, tracked my career,
held my children . . . and have always been near.
Their path is the path I have chosen to trod . . .
My Jesuits match closely, my vision of God.
Thus, I say from the heart; from what I can see . . .
God must be a Jesuit – to a reasonable degree.

A magnificent hymn of tribute to those the Lord was pleased to choose as the channel of His grace for you. They were handpicked by Him to guide and sustain you in the most difficult period of time when it really counted to have them.
Fortunmate the man who find the true friend,--. Jesus Sirach, Chapter 6 vs. 14-16 too has also very beautiful lines on this theme.
And these friends, who reflect, as every true friend should, - His face, the original Friend-the Matrix and paradigm friend, and thus remain your faithful friends in this valley of tears. and keep sustaining you.
How wonderful the Lord cares for His children. !
He gives to everyone just what is needed
At the right time they find the right guides and friends.
Praise HIM!
Asolutely beautiful, deeply moving and inspring tribute.!.
Your love and thankfulness shines in every line of it..
Thank you so much for sharing it with us to the Greater Glory of God.
Blessings
Elizabeth.
