Silver Lining

Contributed by hauntedscorp on Tuesday, 24th May 2005 @ 05:20:24 PM in AEST
Topic: ambiguous

A petal fallen to the ground
the rhythm of one's breathing a comforting sound
trees swaying in the wind;
forgiving all those that have sinned
A blossom opening up...
drinking from a half full cup
seeds planted; roots taking hold
A phoenix rising; breaking the mold
a bird singing his song of love,
and in one's heart's been born a dove...
The sun rising, promising a new day
darkness and shadows now kept at bay
A caterpillar turns to butterfly and spreads its wings
walls that were built, are now crumbling
a squirrel dodges a car for another day,
all those rainy clouds have washed away
The moon smiles down with all its glow;
where once was a door, is now a window....
