The Kiss

Topic: EmotionalPoetry

What is a kiss? There are so many definitions. A kiss could be as the sun sets, it kisses the mountain tops or as clouds touch tenderly.
The waves as they rush to the shore to just kiss the sand of a enchanted Island, or the breeze as it gently caresses the tops of the tallest tree.
Or how the mist as it alls, gently touching the ground, cool and wet as it spreads across the open fields and homes that are scattered on the foothills.
Like a snowflake, that slowy falls ever so lightly to the ground, or settling on the peaks of distant mountains, or touch of a butterfly wings as they gently brush against your cheek.
When they meet, it is like a explosion of passion and they become one for that moment of time, never wanting it to end, never wanting to l et go. Yes, time does stop, if only for a moment

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
