the harsh glares,
blank stares conceal,
a picture in my hands,
my tear stained expression,
drops of vinegar from my eyes,
blemishing my fantasy.
i know not the girl in the mirror,
her heart shattered,
bruised and healed,
glass eyes watching painfully,
i cannot see inside,
to recognize that girl as me.
floating on cloud eight,
cracking underneath,
leaving my falling,
gasping for relief,
reaching to supports,
that never existed.
the landing is bitter,
as i crawl through,
holes surround,
catching stray sound,
silence is bliss,
i stuggle to stand.
music in my mouth,
words tumble down,
hitting concrete,
smashing the quiet,
burst to life,
vibrant colors emerge.
i walk through the sands of time,
regain lost youth,
my gaze befalls my battered face,
the mirrors see,
deep in my future,
past and all.

Wow, Very deep poem. My favorite part is defiantly:
"i know not the girl in the mirror,
her heart shattered,
bruised and healed,
glass eyes watching painfully,
i cannot see inside,
to recognize that girl as me."
I think that’s what I can relate to the most in the poem.
