One reason
Why you only listen when you're face is off
Faceoffs have taken their toll on me
Eliminating feelings like playoffs
Takeoffs and landings seem more like
Trees cracking and falling to the floor
Leaves soak into the ground and are remembered no more
The poor inside of me eeks through exposing
Vulnerabilities of insecurities
That I've only shown to me
