Doses Of Fear

Topic: political

pulling on heartstrings,
he sits in his observatory,
waiting for the moment,
to intiate doses of fear.

playing with his loyal puppets,
never disobeying their master.
they conform to their orders,
without thinking otherwise.

he carefully picks out the weeds,
while watering young seedlings.
desicions are made in a hurry,
he deploys them in foreign territory.

with a weapon in each hand,
and innocent lives for the taking,
he directs them with guilt,
not expecting them to return.

back in his homestate,
mass panic is coaxed into submission.
he fills their world with chaos,
controlled anarchy to keep the peace.

not one asks questions,
pumped with irrational fear.
he continues to watch from the sky,
waiting for the next moment.
