Sleep

Contributed by MyChemicalRomanceHeLeNa on Monday, 23rd May 2005 @ 10:23:27 PM in AEST
Topic: Suicide

Sleeping in a dream of fragile memories
missing what I've lost to heartache and devour my last breath
shining stars and listeless blazing flames of anger and distrust
perhaps a falling angel caught my heart
because i just wandered into a darkened empty plain
simple yet not the same
as love
i don't want anyone to squeeze me
they might take away my life
I just want someone to hold me
and walk me through the pain
I'm standing alone and waiting
insincere messages of hate
sent to my soul
to wreak upon my habits
life is nothing more than a certainty of death
light cannot be found
happiness is a false reality
living is a soft mortality
sleeping is all i want
stop this falling lesson
save me from my heartache
sing me to sleep
dreaming of life
is nothing short of suicide
missing you is all this caused
end it now for am i shallow
hit me with this razor blade
take away this tragedy of living
and leave me bleeding
screaming for something more
close the door to reality
and leave me to myself
once more
